Sun care, dry cleaning shampoo, medicine and veterinarians look to add fillers
According to the statistics of Comit é Fran ç AIS des a é rosols (CFA), the number of aerosol cans in France in 2016 was 748 million. This is 1 million (0.13%) less than 749 million in 2015.
Personal care is the main product category, with 399.7 million units. Hair gel and mousse topped the list with $136.3 million. Deodorants and antiperspirants followed, with 122.4 million. Sunscreen products, water sprays, dry cleaning shampoo and other products increased the most (33.5%), with a total increase of 109.5.
In 2016, the sales of pharmaceutical and veterinary drugs were 167.9 million, an increase of 11.2% over 2015. In 2016, there were 76.7 million automobiles and bicycles, paints and varnishes, and industrial and technical products, an increase of 4.9%.
