According to the data of CFA, the total amount of aerosol cans in France in 2014 was 703.7 million cans (5410.5 million cans of aluminum and 152.65 million cans of steel).
This is 52.6 million (8.1%) more than 651 million in 2013. This is the second consecutive year of substantial growth after an increase of 17.3% in 2013. The increase in production was partly due to the transfer of business to France. According to CFA, a large filling company recently concentrated all its European production in its French plant and produced an additional 80 million sets of personal care products in the past two years.
Personal care products did dominate, with 395.4 million units (384.8 million aluminum; 10.6 million steel). AP / deo ranks first with 173.6 million aluminum cans and 4.1 million steel cans, with a total filling volume of 177.7 million cans.
Hair gel ranks second, with 77.4 million aluminum cans and 2.8 million steel cans, totaling 80.2 million cans. Medicine and veterinary medicine are the second largest category, with 142.6 million cans (128.9 million aluminum cans; 3.7 million steel; 5 million glass and 5 million plastic).
In the household category, air fresheners ranked third and first, with 39.4 million cans (35.1 million steel; 4.3 million aluminum) in 2014. Followed by household pesticides and plant sprays, a total of 18.7 million times (15.1 million steel; 3.6 million aluminum). In 2014, the total filling volume of such drinks exceeded 76 million cans.
Affected by the increase of personal care products, the number of aerosols in aluminum cans increased to 78%. CFA pointed out that the increase of glass and plastic aerosols has increased from one million years to millions. In the past two years, it is considered to confirm the change rules of European motivation, make them more open and innovative, while maintaining a high level of safety and ensuring consumer confidence in aerosol products.
