Associa çã o Brasileira de aeross ó is esaneates domissanit á Rios (Abas) recently released aerosol statistics for Brazil in 2016. The report shows that the total consumption of aerosols exceeds 1.2 billion, an increase of nearly 11.6% over more than 1.8 billion in 2015.
Personal care products occupy a dominant position with 52% market share; Deodorants account for a staggering 86% of personal care products. The second is pesticides, accounting for 24%, and the other main role is home care, accounting for 11%.
In 2016, 30% of aerosols in Brazil were imported, while 70% of aerosols were produced domestically. Compared with 58.81% aerosol generated in Brazil in 2015, this is a huge increase.
