The Brazilian Aerosol Association (Associa çã o Brasileira de aeross ó is esaneates domissanit á Rios or Abas) recently released aerosol statistics for Brazil in 2017.
The report shows that the total consumption of aerosols exceeds 1.2 billion, an increase of less than 1% over 2016. Personal care products account for 58% of the market share; Deodorant accounts for 91% of personal care products.
Insecticides followed, accounting for 17%, and home care, accounting for 11%. In 2017, Brazil imported 25% of aerosols, while 75% of aerosols were produced domestically. This is an increase from 70% of aerosols produced in Brazil in 2016.
