The Brazilian Aerosol Association (Associa çã o Brasileira de aeross ó is esaneates domissanit á Rios or Abas) recently released aerosol statistics for Brazil in 2018. The report shows that the total consumption of aerosols exceeded 1.36 billion, an increase of 12.8% over 2017.
Personal care products account for 58% of the market share; Deodorant fillers continue to dominate personal care products. The second is pesticides, accounting for 18%, and the other main factor is home care, accounting for 10%.
In 2018, 23% of aerosols in Brazil were imported, while 77% of aerosols were produced domestically. This is higher than 75% of aerosols produced in Brazil in 2017.
