Aerosol production in Argentina continues to thrive in 2014

Camara Argentina Del Aerosol (CADEA) recently released statistics on aerosol production in Argentina in 2014. CADEA estimates that the total production is 1.155 billion cans, an increase of 1.7% over 2013, the highest production level so far. Argentina had a considerable increase in all categories, but there were slight decreases in three categories: hair care, household preparations and medicine.

Personal care products increased by nearly 1.9% compared with 2013. The largest increase was in the bronzers / sun care sector, with an increase of 28.57%. Household products improved slightly, up nearly 1%.

In 2014, progress was also made in pesticides (1.7%), food (3.3%) and others (4.3%).
