Bag-on-valve packaging refers to a kind of pressure packaging system in which the propellant and the content are respectively stored in two isolated units in the same packaging container. When in use, the propellant is released from the can in a predetermined form by the pressure provided by the propellant.
Bag-on-valve packaging is characterized by a bag in the aerosol can, liquid raw materials are filled in the bag, and gas is between the aerosol can and the bag. It has the advantages of environmental protection, high hygiene level, solving raw material corrosion, can body and gas-liquid incompatibility, etc.
Difference between bag-on-valve filler and ordinary aerosol filler
1. Different process flow:
Bag-on-valve packaging is a special aerosol packaging and filling machine. The agent material and the propellant are packaged separately in their respective containers, which reduces the complexity of the formula. And it dosen’t release the propellant during use, and reduces the impact on safety and environment. Its production process is: vacuum – inflation – sealing – liquid filling.
For the ordinary aerosol filler, we can not prevent the agent corrosivity to the tank. The agent and the propellant are packaged in the same container. The production process is: filling, sealing and inflation.
2. Different filling principles
The bag-on-valve packaging aerosol filling machine is to fill the compressed air into the tank, seal the valve with bag, and fill the raw material into the bag in the tank to completely isolate the raw material from the tank.
The propellant is replaced by compressed air (purification) to replace propylene butane liquefied gas and dimethyl ether, so as to solve the problem caused by leakage caused by raw material corrosion of the tank. When in use, open the valve, the compressed air pressure in the tank forces the bag to press the raw materials out of the tank. When the raw materials are completely pressed out, the compressed air in the tank still remains in the tank, so it can be filled again. The shape of the sprayed raw material aerosol can be changed by changing the valve actuator.
The working principle of ordinary aerosol filling machine is similar to the synthesis of liquid filling machine and gas filling machine. There are automatic aerosl filling machine and semi automatic aerosol filling machine. The principle is to carry out quantitative filling of liquid before gas filling. After the completion of liquid filling, fill the quantitative gas (or liquefied gas) with a certain pressure into the aerosol tank. Because the aerosol product must have a certain pressure, the opening of the aerosol tank must be closed before inflation. The gas is filled under a certain pressure through the valve opening on the top of the aerosol tank.
