Brazil’s aerosol market jumped by more than 9%, breaking the one billion mark

The report shows that the total consumption of aerosols in Brazil is close to 1.033 billion, an increase of nearly 9.2% compared with 946 million in 2013. Personal care products account for 53% of all products and dominate the product category; Deodorant accounted for 88%. The second is pesticides, accounting for 21%, and the other main factor is home care, accounting for 12%. In 2014, 47% of aerosols in Brazil were imported, while 53% of aerosols were produced domestically.
In 2014, there were 5.1 aerosol products per household; Abas predicts that by 2024, each Brazilian household will have 7.3 aerosol products, and the total Brazilian aerosol market will reach 1.594 billion.
